HVAC Technician

As a 1st Choice HVAC Technician, you’ll install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems with an emphasis on customer satisfaction, teamwork, and quality craftsmanship—without the pressure of high-stakes sales. You’ll work with the latest tools and technology and enjoy a supportive, no-nonsense work environment.

Position/Role Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment efficiently
• Perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns
• Communicate job details and solutions clearly and honestly with clients
• Maintain clean, organized company truck and tools
• Keep accurate records, take jobsite photos, and complete digital forms using company software
• Follow safety standards and company protocols
• Collaborate with managers and office staff to ensure smooth workflow

Position Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ HVAC experience
• Valid HVAC Certification and Driver’s License
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in confined spaces, attics, and crawlspaces
• Proficiency (or willingness to learn) in using iPads, iPhones, and service software
• Knowledge of HVAC electronics and ability to read wiring diagrams
• Team player with a positive, solutions-focused mindset
